The traditional ITU BioBlitz event was held on May 22, the International Day for Biodiversity, by the ITU Biodiversity, Conservation of Ecosystems, and Sustainable Use Commission, chaired by our faculty member Dr. Emrah Çoraman. The event, which included the participation of ITU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, brought together researchers and volunteers on the ITU Ayazağa Campus to document as many species as possible in a single day, contributing valuable data to ITU’s ongoing efforts to monitor and preserve campus biodiversity.
