The Guardian, one of UK’s leading newspapers, published a letter by our retired faculty member Prof. Dr. Celâl Şengör in its issue dated September 29, 2023.

Prof. Dr. Şengör’s letter titled “Sheer stupidity is a threat to our scientific progress”, written in response to an article by the renowned theoretical physicist Giorgio Parisi claiming that the world has lost trust in scientists, was published on the “science” section of the newspaper along with letters written by Damian Pattinson and Jack Whalen on the same subject.
